During these uncertain times, it is more important than ever that we support each other. We have made recent donations and are proud to support several local organizations that are focused on providing food and shelter to those most in need in our community, including The Haven, the Salvation Army , Meals on Wheels and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry.
Model Homes + Design Center
Our model homes and design center are now OPEN! We are limiting the number of potential homebuyers to 4 in addition to their realtor (if applicable) for in-person meetings along with requiring masks and the use of hand sanitizer. This allows for proper social distancing in our model homes and completed speculative homes. We will continue to offer the option of virtual appointments for all our model homes and design center. We have many online resources available to learn about new homes and the communities in which we build. Homes Under Construction
We are actively monitoring the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) best practice recommendations and limiting the number of trade partners per day scheduled in each home. Employees are adhering to social distancing and wearing additional protective gear.
Warranty and Service Requests
We are postponing all in-home 1 year warranty services. We are available by phone during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm at (434) 245-0894 or email Servicerequest@southern-development.com. Southern Development Employees
We care about our team. Southern Development employees will not come to work if they are ill and/or have symptoms of the COVID-19 and paid leave policies are in place to support employees and their families during these uncertain times.
We are committed to our team, community and our customer experience. We are monitoring recommendations by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), local and state government, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and adjusting operations accordingly.
